OKRs

Objectives and key results

Objectives and Key Results, or OKRs, are a goal-setting and accountability format popularized at Google and through the book Measure What Matters, by John Doerr.

Agenda

This meeting starts at the teams big hairy goal, and then asks attendees to brainstorm ways of measuring their progress toward that goal:

1. Objectives and key results

https://www.whatmatters.com/resources/google-okr-playbook/

2. What is our objective?

What is our goal? What are we trying to accomplish?

3. What should be our key results?

What specific measures will we use to decide whether we achieved our goal?

4. That's it!

Thanks for joining us :)

Good luck!

Run in Shuffleboard

I loved the lightweight experience of Shuffleboard. It felt like Jackbox for a business workshop… and it really did help us get productive input from a large group of people at once. I think I’d want to use this tool even if I was doing an in person session!

Guy Suter
Startup founder using Shuffleboard for culture-building

The best part of Shuffleboard is how everyone joins just by clicking a link. I can immediately collect everybody's ideas in a transparent way, but stay in control of the chaos and finish the meeting with an actionable, shareable plan.
